Travers bushfire & ecology is an ecology consultancy. My role within the company to has been to manage and implement all aspects of marketing including: Rebrand and re-new its outdated branding; Design & animate company logos; Design and create a new wordpress website using Elementor; Design and create infographics, social media assets, print & digital media advertisements; Film & edit video content for website, social media and youtube channel; Photograph staff for website; Create & style over 30 MS word report templates in A4 & A3; Manage, write and implement social campaigns and advertisements.

Xabc as the name suggests, was founded by myself and my Husband Bruce, where we met working at ABC TV, working on many high-profile shows during their time there.

Xabc started as a production company in 2002 making commercials, corporate videos, documentaries and music clips, utilizing our skills learnt from the ABC.

After Bruce had a car accident 2007, we turned to music promotion, and have managed many successful tour schedules of international bands across all states of Australia. 

Seeing a gap in the market on the Central Coast NSW began Girrakool Blues Festival, a music festival which has grown each year, starting as a one-day event to a 3-day event it is today in the 5 years it has been running.

My role as Festival Manager was to develop and manage all aspects of a 3 Day Blues Music Festival with a $350,000 budget; Source funding and write Applications – Have secured a total of $114,000 in Govt. Funding; I am responsible for Budget writing; Managing, negotiating and contracting bands; Programming; Site planning and logistics; Source infrastructure, Contractors, Security, Crew and Volunteers; Manage Stall-holders, Bar, BBQ Teams; Apply for Liquor License and DA’s with local council; Liaise with stakeholders, sponsors, councilors and Police; Accounts and Payroll; Rostering & Site Management; Tour Management; Entertainment/Immigration Visa’s; Itineraries and Schedules.

As Video Producer, Director, Camera & Editor I produced Commercials, Documentaries, Corporate Video’s and Music Videos, as well as promotional videos for all of Xabc Entertainment’s events and tours. As a Video Production Company we’ve worked closely with Cultural Arts and Community Groups, including the Cultural Development Department of Central Coast Council; National Aboriginal and Islander Skills Development Association (NAISDA), 5 Lands Walk Inc. and National Parks and Wildlife.
