Xabc started as a production company in 2002 making commercials, corporate videos, documentaries and music clips, utilizing our skills learnt from the ABC.
After Bruce had a car accident 2007, we turned to music promotion, and have managed many successful tour schedules of international bands across all states of Australia.
Seeing a gap in the market on the Central Coast NSW began Girrakool Blues Festival, a music festival which has grown each year, starting as a one-day event to a 3-day event it is today in the 5 years it has been running.

Obtained Destination NSW funding for past 2 years for Girrakool Blues Festival @ $20,000 each year. Write Media releases; Prepare reports and insights including target market and demographics; Co-ordinate prospectus for B2B sponsorship; Co-ordinate advertising material incl. posters, pamphlet, banners, program and other advertising material incl. print media and digital graphics (from conception to finished product) for Xabc Entertainments events and tours; Liaise with and obtain quotes with advertisers and suppliers; Manage and implement social media marketing and digital advertising campaigns; Liaise with digital marketing companies.
Assigned to Drama, Documentaries and other high-profile weekly programs, as Assistant Editor during my time at the ABC, using AVID. Jobs Included editing, logging and digitizing, adding sound effects, exporting files for online editing, sound post production and broadcast.
